Expert guides & planning

Join us on a beautifully curated, bespoke experience over 9 nights. Every detail of the trip has been thoughtfully arranged to ensure you have maximum peace-of-mind and enrichment. From the moment you arrive at Mumbai airport on 11 April until the retreat concludes on 20 April, every transfer, flight, meal and experience is taken care of, so sit back and relax! Nina will travel with the group throughout as the InRetreat guide.

Yoga & meditation

Thrive on daily yoga and meditation with acclaimed international yoga instructor, Nina. Each morning we’ll enjoy a transformative and inspiring Vinyasa session, and the evenings offer a relaxing Yin and meditation session to help you wind down and sleep soundly. Nina’s teaching style is accessible and adaptable to the needs of our retreat group and there is a non-competitive, welcoming atmosphere. All yoga sessions are optional and there is no judgment or pressure placed on attendance or performance.

Regional, fresh produce

Kerala is renowned for its delicious, unique cuisine and is a diamond in the jeweled crown of Indian culinary traditions. There is a strong focus on regional, organic and fresh produce, and many of the dishes are light, naturally healthy and full of flavour, without being overly hot/spicy or rich. Nina and the Ayurveda doctors at Neeleshwar have teamed up with the award-winning chefs to design a menu that is varied, balanced, energizing and authentic. You will be wowed!

Cultural immersion

This retreat is a cultural immersion! Included in the itinerary is an excursion to view a traditional Theyyam ceremony - a religious ritual performed only in northern Kerala. We will also be treated to an Indian classical music concert, and a half-day house-boat tour on the Kerala ‘backwaters’, rich in biodiversity and cultural significance. We’ll be welcomed to a cooking class with Neeleshwar chefs, and a dialogue on Ayurveda by a traditional doctor. We also have a half-day guided tour of Mumbai’s top sites!

A seaside retreat

Neeleshwar Hermitage is a 5-star boutique hotel overlooking a quiet stretch of beach in Northern Kerala, which remains charming, unspoilt and non-touristy. The yoga shala, and many of the suites, have unhindered views of the Arabian Sea. There is a top-rated Ayurveda spa, with expert Ayurveda doctors on site. All retreaters will get an individualized consultation and spa-treatment programme, ensuring you feel AMAZING - refreshed and pampered.

A celebration at the Taj

On our last night of the retreat we will celebrate the journey we’ve undertaken together and revel in the beauty and opulence of the iconic Taj Mahal Tower, Mumbai. The Taj Mahal in Mumbai is undeniably magnificent, with a rich history and unbeatable level of service and style. We will have a celebratory last dinner here together, and the retreat ends after a sumptuous breakfast on 20 April. If you want to stay on here, or continue your travels elsewhere in India, we have an expert travel agency to connect you with!
