Nina Butler
Nina grew up in the South African wilderness roaming barefoot beneath sunny skies, in awe of earth’s wonders. She was a high-school drop-out who traded the classroom for a yacht skipper’s qualification and started working on private yachts in the Mediterranean at 16 years old. This was the ultimate ‘university of life’ that led her into various culinary, viticultural, spiritual, and artistic pursuits around the world. She eventually navigated back to formal education and defended a Doctorate in Philosophy in 2015. Soon thereafter, she launched a start-up offering bespoke, multilingual yoga training online. This flowered into an in-person yoga travel and adventure experience business -InRetreat - and various consulting opportunities in brand strategy and communication.
Jannicke Wiel
Jannicke Wiel is a lover of nature and yoga. After studying yoga and Indian philosophy in the Indian Himalayas during the 1990s, she took her MA in philosophy in Oslo in 1998. In 2002, she founded Oslo Yoga, which has been one of the leading yoga studios in Oslo for the last 20 years. Her books "what is YOGA" (2020) and "The Magic of Yoga" (2023) demonstrates her understanding of yoga in a broad sense, as a physical and mental practice, a life style and a philosophy of life. Her contact with nature is a great resource in her own life, which she is inspired to share with others.
Jonathan Weber
Jonathan Weber is a dedicated Mindfulness and Yoga Instructor with over 15 years of experience guiding individuals towards greater inner peace and physical well-being. For the last decade, he has been leading transformative retreats that blend traditional yoga practices with modern mindfulness techniques, informed by western science. Jonathan’s journey into yoga and mindfulness began during his teens, where he trained under the renowned teacher Ram Dass. He lived at a Buddhist centre studying meditation and has travelled throughout India learning from different meditation masters. He holds a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from the Yoga Alliance and has an advanced education in mindfulness meditation through the IMA. His approach is deeply rooted in the understanding that true happiness and well-being arise from within, as we learn to balance the body, heart, and mind.
Kathy Miller
Kathy Miller uses botanical and watercolour inks, watercolours, acrylic, and collages to explore and communicate the substance of the immaterial, of experience, and of transformation.
Thirty years as a typographer and designer guide her hand, while significant and profound life experiences provide a deep inner compass. Much awarded for her design work, Miller is known for instinctive contextual thinking with imaginative discovery at the heart of her practice. She explores the profound nature of being and what lies unseen in the liminal spaces of time between real and imagined, dreams and memories.
Her work is dynamic and constantly evolving, using interdisciplinary materials and expressive techniques. Deliberately departing from conventional methods, she blends the conceptual with the intuitive, research and information with spontaneity, and controlled experimentation with the unexpected – a search for beauty and stillness intertwined with an appreciation of history, change, and decay.
Betty Soldi
Betty is a wordsmith, calligrapher, designer and creative thinker with a multi-faceted approach to a constellation of imaginatively inspired projects. Descending from a Florentine family that has been handmaking fireworks since 1869, her uniquely original calligraphic style merges a heritage of design references with modern intellect for emotionally compelling branding, bespoke visual arts projects, graphic design communication, lifestyle objects, stationery and packaging collaborations.
After many years of living in London, she now has a design consultancy studio in the heart of Florence, drawing in like-minded skilled collaborators for custom projects and sensorial experiences. A starry-eyed perspective has also led her to co-own and be the PR brand guardian for four boutique hotels in the stylish centre and more artistically quirky Oltrarno area of Florence.
Betty’s studio has produced distinctive branding, visual arts projects, graphic design, communication, stationery and packaging for brands including Belmond, Miu Miu, Lamy, Fortnum & Mason and Gucci. Betty is also the author and designer of the creative book, Inkspired, published in 8 languages.
Natalie Gond
Natalie blends the use of her voice and various singing bowls and other instruments as tools for mental repose and spiritual exploration. Using voice and sound for deep healing is a practice rooted in ancient traditions, and it can be incredibly powerful in promoting relaxation, emotional release, and physical restoration. Natalie studied music and opera in New York before relocating to in Paris in 2004. She threw herself into an extremely demanding position in the travel industry. By the end of 2019, she experienced a burn-out that left her exhausted and seeking a change to the pace of life. Natalie began using her voice and love of music to bring well-being to others through sound therapy and sound yoga.
Anna van Neerven
Anna is a holistic beauty and well-being expert, as well as a yoga teacher, from the charming city of Haarlem, Netherlands. She is deeply passionate about the transformative power of self-care and weaves this belief into her unique approach by blending Face yoga & Face Sculpt treatments with yoga practices.
Through Face yoga, Anna gently guides women to reconnect with their faces on a deeper level. By releasing tension through intentional exercises and soothing massage techniques, Face yoga not only lifts the face but also uplifts the spirit, enhancing both inner and outer beauty. Her work centers around guiding women radiate confidence and glow from within.
In her yoga classes, Anna draws inspiration from the fluidity of water. Her gentle vinyasa flows invite participants to “move like water,” encouraging release, renewal, and a deep connection to the body. This practice embodies a balance of softness and mindful awareness, creating a space for true inner harmony.
